Australian Cattle Dog
As the name implies, the dog's primary function, and one in which it has no peer, is the control and movement of cattle in both wide open and confined areas. Always alert, extremely inteligent, watchful, courageons and trustworthy, with an implicit devotion to duty making it an ideal dog. The cattle dog loyality and protective instinct makes it a guardian dog to his herd and his property. Whilst naturals suspicious of strangers, must be amenadue to handling, particulars in show ring. For his nice character he is fine family dog. They present themselves very well in sport, trekking, search and rescue, obedience trials, working trials, agility, flyball at the constant companion dog. They are used for drug and explosive searching. Generally the dog needs lots of activits therefore I recommend this dog to sporty and active people.
